VBPS GIRLS NAILED IT AT THE AUSTRALIAN VIDEO COMPETITION

The Australian trade and investment commission has announced the Study Australia Video Competition for students of grades IX to XII from schools across India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. There were more than 1000 entries for the videos from various South Asian countries.

Tanisha Lal and Akshita Gupta, students of class X from Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida along with their mentor Mrs. Archana Jain, submitted the leading video entry to the SAVC competition across South Asia on theme “Lockdown Blues”. These girls bagged the first runner up position from The University of Sydney, Australia. The girls along with their mentor will receive certificate of appreciation. The University of Sydney praised the innovative and viable idea presented by us. Principal, Mrs. Veera Pandey also lauded the consistent efforts of the team. Mrigank Pawagi from Vishwa Bharati Public School , has been felicitated by Government of Uttar Pradesh for being a state topper in class X (2020-21). Under the "Medhavi Vidyarthi Sammaan " program, the state government of Uttar Pradesh felicitates the state topper of CBSE with a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000 and a tablet.

The felicitation was conducted in the presence of District Magistrate, Suhas LY along with Zila Panchayat Adhyaksh , CDS and DIOS.

K.V.P.Y. (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) is a National level scholarship exam for students who wish to pursue a career in the field of pure sciences. The top qualified students get admission in IISC, Bengaluru recognized as the top University in India by NIRF MHRD.

Our students Mrigank Pawagi (All India Rank 130), Umang Tripathi(All India Rank 176) and Aditya Kumar (All India Rank 262) have excelled in this exam and have made us proud. They will be getting Rs.5000 monthly fellowship during 1stand 3rd year of basic science undergraduate courses and an annual contingency grant of Rs.20000.Besides this ,theywill also get Rs.7000 monthly fellowship during MSc. 4th and 5th year and an annual contingency grant of Rs.20000.They also have access to national laboratories and universities across the country.

It is indeed an honour and a moment of great pride for Vishwa Bharati Public School , Noida as one of its top achiever from class 11, Mrigank Pawagi scored a whopping 99.5 % in class 10th CBSE Board Exams 2020 and set a new record for securing the top position in the entire district. On the occasion of the 30th Foundation day of the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA). Sharda University in collaboration with GNIDA organized a Virtual *“3rd Technovation Hackathon Smart City”* on *26-27 January 2021 at National level where two teams from our school stood as the winner.Yuvraj Singh (XII C) ,Shreyas OM (XIIC) Students of Vishwa Bharati Public school Noida bagged second position under the mentorship of Ms.Sofia Goel and were awarded cash prize of Rs20000 from CEO Noida..They developed an app named as BMAX ,a health awareness application

Another Team , Arnav Suman (XI C) & Siddharth Fotedar (XI A), bagged 10 thposition under the mentorship of Ms. Archana Jain and were awarded cash priz of Rs. 4,000 from CEO Noida. They developed a software named “Drone Pollution Monitoring System”, in which drone footage could be monitored by the software to find sources of pollution, which if done by human eyes would be tiring and slow.

Paint and Celebrate Patriotism

“Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Gaziabad organized “Paint and Celebrate Patriotism”on 27th Jan 2019 in which more than 2000 children from 150 schools participated .Debapratap Panda (VD) of VBPS ,Noida won the 1st prize in the junior category . He was awarded a cash prize of Rs add 51000. ”

Mrigank Pawagi , a class IX student of VishwaBharati Public School , Noida won accolades when he was declared the winner of the mBillionth Awards South Asia 2018 organised by DEF , India . He was felicitated for developing a mobile app “WEBME” that helps people to learn and become aware about Cyber security.

He edge passed 153 entries from South Asian countries.

The event was attended by prominent people from Facebook , Bill and Melinda Gates foundation , YourStory , Go news and many others from the IT Industry.

Mrigank was also a member of the panel “Is Mobile Humane?”

Iridescent, a nonprofit empowering underrepresented young people globally to become innovators and leaders, announced that team of girls - one from India won top honors at its 2018 Technovation World Pitch Summit, the world's largest tech entrepreneurship program for girls ages 10-18. The team was named the winner in the senior division during the "Global Innovation Celebration" held in the San Jose Theatre, USA Aug.9.

The team represented India at the World Technovation Challenge in the Silicon Valley in San Francisco, the USA, have won the Gold Medal and gold scholarship of 15000 US dollars in the contest. This team, led by Mrs. Archana Jain defeated representatives of other technology giants including the USA, Mexico, Spain, Egypt, China, and the State of Palestine to clinch the gold medal.

The celebration was the final event in the week-long World Pitch Summit Aug. 6-10. Finalists and visiting teams traveled from around the world for networking, field trips to tech companies, and career-building workshops.

Senior division winners, Team Cantavits, hope to track and dispose of electronic waste in an eco-friendly manner through its app, Eedo. The app provides an end-to-end connection between e-waste producers and authorized recyclers.

"According to a study, 81% of people dispose of their e-waste in an improper manner, not realizing its consequences. E-waste comes back to them in the form of toxic fumes and polluted water. Our app and the seed money from the Technovation Challenge will help us combat this issue in India," said Team Cantavits

Rotary club, Noida and society of sports and cultural advancements (SSCA) organized Cross-Country Race at Noida Stadium on 29th August 2017 (Tuesday) to celebrate the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand.

Among boys, the 4th Major Dhyan Chand Inter-School Championship 2017 was won by the team of Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida.

Vishwa Bharati School Shines at Google code to learn contest 2016

Aditi Jain, a class 7 student of Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida has won in the annual “Google code to learn contest 2016” conducted by Google India. This event is organized in support of Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan, a flagship scheme of Ministry of HRD, nurturing the spirit of scientific inquiry and creativity.

More than 800 entries were there from all over India. Students from over 80 cities participated. All the projects were went through very tough competition from all over India. Nine students from across the country were chosen as winners by a jury comprising of Scientists, Computer Engineers from Google, ACM India and IIIT Delhi.

Aditi outshined the other 800 participants who took part in the event. Her mobile app FREEBO of sharing used books was greatly appreciated by the Google scientist and judges. In her analysis she highlighted how money can be saved by donating extra books and its impact on saving environment. She will be awarded by a certificate of achievement and a Nexus tablet or Chrome book laptop from Google.

Yuvraj Singh (XII C), Shreyas OM (XIIC) Students of Vishwa Bharati Public school Noida bagged second position under the mentorship of Ms.Sofia Goel and were awarded cash prize of Rs20000 from CEO Noida..They developed an app named as BMAX ,a health awareness application

Another Team, Arnav Suman (XI C) &SiddharthFotedar (XI A), bagged 10th position under the mentorship of Ms. Archana Jain and were awarded cash prize of Rs. 4,000 from CEO Noida. They developed a software named “Drone Pollution Monitoring System”, in which drone footage could be monitored by the software to find sources of pollution, which if done by human eyes would be tiring and slow.

Inspire Award 2020

Manyata Pawagi of class 6 participated in Inspire-Award Manak 2020 and her project has been selected at the district level . Her project is adevice to make “Social Distancing circles “ With laser projector which can be controlled through an app on their mobiles.

In class IX , Suryaansh Chawala sent his idea on “Covid -19 Data Analyser and Conciser” to the Manak Association and was selected for the District Level Exhibition . The first version of his project focusses on “wrapping-up ” students attention spans during classes and MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and thereby helping teachers to provide one-on-one help to the students.

National Level Olympiad

CSC Olympiad 1.0 was held and 7 students from our school won National level Awards. Students from 3rd to 12th registered for Hindi,English,Mathematics , Science, General Knowledge , Cyber, Logical Reasoning , Physics and Chemistry Olympiads.

Technovation Challenge 2020

Technovation Challenge program in which nearly 2,000 teams of girls (ages 10-18) are challenged to develop a mobile application to solve an issue they’ve identified in their community. This year, teams across 60+ countries overcame incredible odds stemming from COVID-19 to participate with the support of more than 3,500 mentors and chapter ambassadors. A team from Vishwa Bharati Public School got the position as a semifinalist in top 50 teams in Junior Division.

The Petroleum Conservation Research Association, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas ,Govt. of India organised Saksham National Competition 2019 (Quiz category ).

Animesh Pathak and PratyushKhunti ,students of class 12 from Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida along with their mentor Ms .Sofia Goel sent their entry in the Data science category.Out of 400 entries ,these boys bagged the first runner up position from the Bond University, Australia.The students were appreciated for their creativity and innovative idea by the Australian University and also encouraged the team to get engaged in their future endeavours.
