A plantation drive was held in Vishwa Bharati Public School on 1st May, 2019. It was organised by the eco club "Nacion Green". The event witnessed active participation of members of the club from all departments. The plantation successfully took place under the guidance of principal and heads. Students raised slogans to create awareness for a clean and green earth.
Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida, organized ‘Harmonica-2019’- The World Earth Day Celebrations on 24th April 2019, in the school premises in association with Millennium India Education foundation under the aegis of Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India.
HARMONICA is a platform wherein participants through a wide spectrum of competitive activities exhibit their creativity & commitment towards environmental issues. The theme for this year was: ‘Protect our Species’.
Participating teams from 28 schools (170 students) of Noida and NCR region, contested in a myriad of competitions to show sensitivity and commitment in this global challenge.
The various Inter-School Competitions namely ‘Lok Kala’ (Folk Art Painting), ‘Doodle Painting 4 Earth’, ‘Pathnatya’ (Street Play) were conducted for the students of classes 4-12 and were based on the theme: Protect Our Species. Each team put up a strong message to safe guard the environment.
Dr B C Sabat, Senior Scientific Officer (Retired), Department of Environment, Delhi, was the Chief Guest for the occasion and in his address he emphasized on the ways in which we can protect our species and in turn our environment. Mrs Rashmi Kakroo, Former Principal, VBPS, Noida was the guest of honour.
The dynamic judges who picked up the winners for painting competition were eminent artists, Mr. Sanjib Gogoi & Ms Geeta Kharb, while Ms Neelam Kavadia & Dr Kcalpana Bhushan, theater personalities judged the street play in which we saw power packed performances by the participating teams.
The Principal, Mrs. Girija Mujoo congratulated the teachers and student organizers and thanked the Guest and judges for sparing their valuable time and for motivating the young learners to be eco- warriors.
Team from Seth Anandram Jaipuria School won the first prize in the street play while in the painting competition,artists from Somerville Noida and Somerville Greater Noida came first. VBPS Noida, emerged as the runners-up in the painting competition.
FORMAL FAREWELL TO CLASS X and XII:
Formal farewell ceremony was organized in Vishwa Bharati Public School Noida, on 1st Feb, 2019 in the school premises. During the Special Morning Assembly all the students of class XII and class X received the memento from the Principal, Mrs. Girja Mujoo. She interacted with the outgoing batch and wished them good luck. The Head Boy, Ayush Razdan and Head Girl, Pragya Srivastava acknowledged and expressed their gratitude on behalf of all the class XII students.A“Havan” was organized to invoke the blessings of the Almighty. Mr. Virendra Sehgal(Management Member), teachers and students were present on this occasion. Prasad was distributed to everyone after the Havan.
Bidding adieu is never easy but an important step forward in passage of time. VBPS, Noida bid farewell to the Batch of 2018-19 on 2ndFeb 2019. A time to reflect back down the memory lane, the feel of nostalgia, emotions running deep, sentiments and expression of gratitude, advises, reminiscence of joyous moments spent in the school, filled the hearts of the students. The Principal, staff and students of class XI joined to bid ‘good byes’ to the beautiful young ladies dressed in their best attires and dashing young men in their newly stitched formal suits. It was a memorable evening with the class XI students putting up an entertainment programme. The cultural programme showcased the multiple talents of class XI students. A mesmerizing musical performance aptly set the momentum for the other stage performances of the day. They presented foot taping dances and songs, which were interspersed with ramp walk by all the gracefully attired class XII students. The prime attraction of the evening were the various titles which the class XII students competed against each other. The coveted titles were conferred by the Principal MsGirja Mujoo, , Heads of Departments, senior teachers, and PTI’S of the school, Ayush Razdan and Swasti Misra were crowned as Mr.and Miss.VBPS,Harditya Pachori , and Pragya Srivastava were selected as Mr.and Miss Versatile; Dhruv Rawat and Garima Sharma as Mr.and Miss Genius,Ripudaman Singh and Anusha Goel as Mr.and Miss Athlete; Prajwal and Meenakshi Soni were honoured as Mr.Handsome and Miss Charming while Mr. and Ms. Regular title was claimed by Anmol Srivastava and Palak.
S.N Ganju Memorial Inter School English Debate:
Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida organized their annual and most prestigious event, Shri S.N.Ganju Memorial Inter School English Debate on 31st October 2018 in their school premises in memory of their erstwhile Gen.Secretary, late Shri. S.N.Ganju who to this day remains a source of inspiration and whose dream of making VBPS, Noida, a force to reckon with, stands fulfilled.17schools from Delhi -NCR region debated on the topic: “Competition and Compassion Cannot Exist Together”.
The chief guest for the day was the District Governor (2018-19) Rotary District 3012, Rtn.Subhash Jain (AKS) and the Guest of Honour was the President of the Rotary club, Noida Rtn. Sudhir Walia. The occasion was also graced by the presence of esteemed management members Mr V.N. Sehgal (President, V.B.W.W. Institution), Dr V.K.Ganju (General Secretary, V.B.W.W. Institution), Mr.R.K. Hak, .Mr.Virendra Sehgal and the Principal and Heads of the Departments.
The judges who picked the winners were Ms.Niharika Ahluwalia, (lawyer, Supreme Court), Ms. Pooja Ashrote KishoreNayar, (Skill Development Trainer, Sahej e-village) and Mr. Ranjit Majumdar Training Professional). Swatantra Chakravarty (Mayoor School) and Abhivyakti Mishra (VBPS, Noida) emerged Best-Speakers (for & against).The overall trophy was bagged by the team from VishwaBharati Noida comprising of Amritraj and Abhivyakti, while Mayoor School Noida were the runners-up. Army Public School, Noida emerged as the Best Team.Principal Mrs.Girija Mujoo presented the vote of thanks.
Induction Ceremony: 2018
The formal swearing in ceremony of the interactors is the most coveted event organized by the club in the entire year. It is also the proudest moment for each Interactor as they enter the world of selflessness and pure joy.
The Interact Club of VishwaBharati Public School, Noida organized their Induction Ceremony onWednesday, 1st August 2018 in the school auditorium.The occasion was graced by eminent Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Noida. The Club President Rtn. Sudhir Walia,Rtn. Amit Handa, Secretary and Director New Generations, Rtn. Major Dalbir Singh were amongst the eminent members present from the Rotary Club of Noida. All guests were accorded a warm welcome by the Principal Mrs. Girja Mujoo.
The grand event started on an auspicious note with theshloka chanting and lighting of the Lamp. The School Choir group then presented a melodious number "Heal the World"followed bythe Annual Report presented by the Past Student President Int. Tejaswini Sowmya N. It was followed by a mesmerizing dance performance on the theme of brotherhood and oneness.
The outgoing student President then exchanged the prestigious Interact Collar with the incoming Student President for session 2018-19 Int. Abhivyakti Mishra. The President of the Rotary Club of Noida, Rtn. Sudhir Walia pinned the Interact badge on new President. ZIR Int. Mehak Sood was inducted as the new Vice President and Int. Tanya Gulati was inducted as the Secretary of the Club. This was followed by the formal induction of all the other portfolio holders and the Interactors by the members of the Rotary Club of Noida.
The new student President Int. Abhivyakti Mishra presented her plans for the year and was appreciated by students and guests alike. There after Rtn. Major Dalbir Singh, Director New Generations addressed the gathering. It was followed by the address from the President, Rtn. Sudhir Walia who applauded the Interact Club’s achievements and also set new targets for the new team. He inspired all the students “to reach within an embrace humanity”. The senior head of the school; Mrs. Girja Mujoo then addressed the gathering and exhorted upon the need for selfless community service. Finally, Interact teacher Incharge, Ms. Rupinder Locham concluded the ceremony with an official vote of thanks. All in all the event was a grand success.
VishwaBharati Public School organized The Investiture Ceremony-2018-19 to induct their newly elected Council Members for the current session on 6th August, 2018, in the school premises.
It was a solemn occasion where the young leaders were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school.
Mrs Girja Mujoo, Principal, formally inducted the Head Boy Aayush Razdan and Head Girl Pragya Srivastava, Vice Head Boy- Saarthak Dhar, Vice Head Girl- Abhivyakti Mishra and handed over the ceremonial flag and pinned the badges.
Shaurya Garg and Vaishnavi Shukla from the Middle wing,Aditya Sharma and Kashavi Chatterjee from the Primary wing were inducted as the Head Boy and Head Girl of their respective Departments.
The badge ceremony was followed by the Oath Ceremony. The Principal blessed and congratulated all badge holders. The Head Boy and the Head Girl of the school expressed their gratitude to the school for reposing faith in the young VishwaBharatians.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS:
Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida celebrated 72nd Independence Day on 15th August 2018 in the school premises with great patriotic spirit and fervor. The occasion was graced by the chief guest Mrs. Anu Sinha,,renowned classical dancer,esteemed Management Members, Mr.V.N.Sehgal , Mr. Virendra Sehgal and the Principal and the Staff.
Thereafter an enthralling cultural bonanza was put up by Vishwa Bhartians which infused in everyone a sense of pride and honour for our country. It was followed by the felicitation of subject toppers of class XII and meritorious students of classes IV-XI ,who excelled academically in session 2017-18.
The Principal, Mrs. Girja Mujoo,congratulated the meritorious students and highlighted the achievements of the school in the session 2017-18 Mrs. Anu Sinha, the chief guest expressed her heartfelt gratitude .She also appreciated school’s education system that is simple and yet progressive. The program concluded by recital of the National Song- Vande Matram.
VishwaBharati Public School, Noida hosted its two day Annual Interschool Fest – “Resplendence 2018” in its school premises on 23rd – 24th August 2018.Resplendence is a medley of events where the students are given several opportunities to show their talent. Over 30 eminent schools of Delhi/NCR region participated in different events spread over the span of two days.The competition mainly targeted at providing a suitable platform for students to exhibit their creative streaks and explore diverse arenas in the process of shaping their personality. The programme commenced on 23rd August with the lighting of the lamp and the battle began with each school aiming for the top position. On this day three events were organised – Dab n’ Splash, SanskritSamvadPratiyogita and Athletic Meet.
SanskritSamvadPratiyogita was judged by eminent Sanskrit scholars Mrs. NeelamKawadiya& Ms. Archana Solanki.Alcon Public School, MayurVihar won this event while VishwaBharati Public School, Noida and Bal Bharati ,Noida shared the second position respectively.Overall Trophy was bagged by Alcon Public School, MayurVihar.
Dab n’ Splash, an art competition was judged by Mr Ashok Bhandari & Ms Garima Pandey. In On theSpot Painting Competition ,VishwaBharati Public School,Noida and Somerville School, Noida came first followed by Indus Valley Public School, Noida and Somerville School, Vasundhra Enclave in second spot. Third position was bagged by Sarla Chopra DAV, Noida and Lotus Valley International School, Noida.
In Mask Making (3-D)Gurukul- The School, Ghaziabad came first. Indus Valley Public School, Noida came second and VishwaBharati Public School, Noida and Amity International School, Noida grabbed third positions respectively.
Indian Traditional Painting was won by Somerville School, Noida followed by Amity International School, Noida who stood second while VishwaBharati Public School, Noida and Army Public School, Noida came third.
Painting on Canvas was won by Pragyan School, Greater Noida. Alcon Public School, MayurVihar grabbed second position and Gurukul- The School, Ghaziabad came third.
Sports Meet was a mixed bag for all participating schools–Foot Ball Tournament was Won by VishwaBharati Public School, Noida ,Army Public School, Noida was the Runners up.
Bal Bharati Public School, Noida claimed the Championship trophy in TableTennis Tournament.
Basket Ball Tournament was won by Army Public School, Noida ,VishwaBharati Public School,Noida was the Runner up.Table Tennis Tournament was won by Bal Bharati Public School,Noida.
Historical Dramatic Monologue- was judged by Mr.RavinderKaul & Ms.Anita Sood.Gurukul - The School, Ghaziabad came first followed by VBPS Noida and DPS Noida who came second.
English Poem Enactment, judged by Dr.Chandana Dutta, founder member of the outfits AkkaBakka and Renge Strains and Ms. Sakshi Shukla, Masters in mass Comm& Journalism was won by DPS, Noida with Father Agnel School, Noida in 2nd position and VBPS, Noida claiming 3rd position.
Different events were held under E–novators, and they were judged byMr. VivekPurohit, Mr.BhaveshRawal and Mr. Prajwal Shetty..Gurukul –The School , Gaziabad came first in Finesse while Appejay School, Noida won “Advertise Here”,Web Forge was won by Khaitan School, Noida., Tech Debut by Apeejay School, Noida and Code Virtuose by Indus Valley School,Noida. Overall Trophy was bagged by ApeejaySchool , Noida.
Arghya – Solo Classical Song Competition was graced by the presence of the famous Sitar Maestro Shri Prateek Choudhary and judged by renowned musicians Shri ShambhunathBhattacharjee and Ms. Sukriti Sen Bhattacharjee.Amity International School, Noida came first in “solo classical song” followed by VishwaBharati Public School Noida and DAVSarla Chopra in second position.SomervilleSchool ,Noida won “TablaJugalbandi” while DPS Noida and VBPS Noida came second.
Overall Trophy was bagged by SomervilleSchool ,Noida.
