Inter -house "One Act Play" was conducted in Middle department on 14th August 2019 in the pre Primary Auditorium. Sundram House bagged "First Position" followed by Satyam house at Second Position.

Details of workshops (Middle Department)(August-2019)

1. Workshop was conducted by the Ms Sunita Sharma and Ms Anupam Sood for the primary and middle school teachers on 3rd August 2019 on the topic भाषा सोंदर्य.

2. Workshop was conducted for Primary and Middle school teachers on‘‘Listening Skill’by Ms.Tina Arora and Ms Ritika Mathur on 3rd August 2019.

3. Value education training workshop ‘Awakened Citizen’ initiated by CBSE in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi was attended by Ms Monica Mehra and Ms Shalini Srivastava of Middle department at Cambridge School, Noida on 31st July and 1st August 2019. The ‘Awakened Citizen’ Program is a three year graded program for students of classes 6, 7, & 8 which aim to empower children with strong foundation of values and having a nation full of enlightened citizens.

NIE Workshop

NIE Workshop was conducted for class 8 th students on "The Art Of Conversation" by Mr Aman Kohli on 18 th of July 2019. The speaker stressed on conversation as a key to language development, the exchange of thoughts and ideas and listening to each other.

Workshop on Traffic Rules

Workshop on Traffic Rules And Safety was conducted by Noida Traffic Police for class VII on 18 th of July 2019. The students were briefed about traffic rules and road safety and they were encouraged to follow the traffic rules.

Workshops Conducted

A Workshop was conducted for class 8th students on ‘Innovation’ by Dr. Siddarth and Mr. Kanha Arora . It was held on 27th of December 2018. They encouraged the students about the innovative discoveries with the help of slides and demonstrations; they have also shown Fold scope (Paper microscope) to students and explained its construction and working

Workshop on career counselling by Mr. Avinashi Sharan from NIE for classes XI on 19th December 2018. It was a interactive session and provided essential support to boost their moral in choosing the right career option. The students were suggested and advised to explore other fields depending on their talent and interest in alternate levels

Trips

Class VI

The Trip to Qutub Minar, Mehrauli, archaeological Site & Rail Museum was held on 23rd Oct 2018 for class 6. Students learnt about Sultanate Architecture; History of Qutub Minar and many monuments located in Mehrauli archaeological site with learning activities related to it. Students also learnt the history of Railways from steam engine to the present electric engine. They saw models of various coaches and trains of India and enjoyed a ride on the toy train.
It was truly an educational trip

Class VII

The trip to Surajgarh Farms, Haryana was held on 26th Oct. 2018 for class 7. Students enjoyed the recreational activities in the natural environment. They had fun doing camel, bullock cart riding, fire-fox, rope climbing, pot making, etc. Students enthusiastically danced on the beats of music being played there. They were served with hygienic, healthy and tasty food from time to time. It was a refreshing and enjoyable trip for the students.

Class VIII

A trip was organized to the Lohagarh Farms on 2nd November 2018 for class VIII. All sections of class VIII moved to experience something new with their class teachers and other subject teachers. The classes reached their by 12:30 p.m. and then a series of fun-filled activities began with the trip co-ordinators followed by mouth watering snacks and other cuisines. Camel ride and DJ was also there to add more zing. The children were happy unwinding themselves in the different world.
